Vintage Marmalade jar - Number 3
A beautiful crazed earthenware Marmalade jar from between 1873 and approximately 1898, branded with the famous James Keiller and sons of Dundee name and wreath logo. These useful pots make a great decoration statement and look great with a candle placed in inside, or use to store your pens/ cutlery, or make it in to a great plant pot for a cactus or succulent. This particular jar does have a crack across the front and some black kiln blemishes. There are no chips to either the top or bottom. This is the 1lb size jar. This pot was dug up from in the Thames estuary near where I live in Essex, UK. Size: 9.5 cm Tall x 8.5 cm wide
